Alex Martin Commercial established in 2010 to specialise in Places of Worship, Nurseries, Education, Medical and Leisure buildings, with a focus on Greater London.
Formerly known as properties within the D1/ D2 use class, as of the 1st September 2020 D1/ D2 uses are replaced by a new use class known as F1/ F2 and also contain some elements of E use class.
Despite recent economic pressures we have seen growth in the demand for such properties yet there remains a shortage of supply. During our time in the marketplace, we have successfully acted on well in excess of £250m of transactions and continue to have a strong pipeline of both opportunities and occupiers.

The E use class (from 1st September 2020) is combined for commercial, business and service uses and includes;
Shops, Financial & Professional Services, Cafe, Restaurants, Offices, Research & Development of Products, Clinics, Health Centres, Creches, Day Nurseries, Day Centres, Gymnasiums, Indoor Recreations (not involving motorised vehicles or firearms)
The F1 use class (from 1st September 2020) replacing the D1 use class for learning and non-residential institutions and includes;
Schools, Non-Residential Education and Training Centres, Museums, Public Libraries, Public Halls, Exhibitions Halls, Places of Worship, Law Courts
The F2 use class (from 1st September 2020) replacing the D2 use class for local community uses and includes;
Hall or Meeting Place for the principal use of the local community. Indoor or Outdoor Swimming Baths, Skating Rinks, and Outdoor Sports or Recreations not involving motorised vehicles or firearms and shops not more than 280 sq m mostly selling essential goods, including food and at least 1km from another similar shop.
